A Jealous Reframe

We need to rethink the emotion of jealousy. Why?

Because it can really be a huge indicator of what you’re craving…but not allowing yourself to crave.

If you’re really into being honest with yourself, and doing some digging around in that treasure trove of a soul, then I suggest doing this exercise.

When I looked at my best friend who had her own energy healing business, I was jealous as CLUCK (ehe). I wanted to be a healer of sorts. In fact in my 5th grade school essay I said I wanted to be a ‘sychyatrist’ because I wanted to help people.

Funny how we know what we want. But it often takes someone ELSE getting that thing you want, for the sparks of ambition to flare up.

It took her starting her own business for me to even recognize that that was something available to me as well. I need only accept that it was.

So, don’t do what I did. Don’t spin your wheels for years trying to figure out what you want when the whole time it’s staring at you in the face. Make use of what’s right there.

Go do this exercise and let me know what insights come out of it.

And please do not let shame get in the way of your inner work. We’ve been taught and conditioned to believe that being jealous is a very shameful thing. And if I’ve not already demonstrated that it isn’t, then well…I still hope you’ll do the exercise anyway. *Peace fingers*

I’d like to leave you with this quote by Brene Brown – ““Shame corrodes the very part of us that believes we are capable of change.”

Reframe jealousy. Reclaim a dream.
